The Harddeep, later named the Sattahip due to proximity to the town when she sank, was an Indonesian registered cargo ship that had been commandeered by the Japanese during World War II. She sank after an aerial attack by allied planes, she now lies on her side in 25 meters of water. The hull is still intact however after sinking in the early 1940's time has taken its toll and the structure has become unstable. Natural light penetrates most areas of the wreck. A short swim out from the funnel line will reward you with two unexploded thousand pound bombs on the sandy bottom. Currents can be strong here but are a lot more bearable once you have descended onto the wreck.
